Sakura - Symbol of Japan
We want to take you all to Kyoto, Japan to tell you about a very important time of year - SAKURA! Beauty is not only on our faces, but in the world all around us!
(Btw - Our team members in Japan took these photos!)
The Sakura, or cherry blossom, has been celebrated for many centuries and holds a very prominent position in Japanese culture. These trees bloom for just a few days in spring. The seasonal show is celebrated with cherry blossom viewing parties under the trees. The Sakura are not only beautiful, but the flower is symbolic of the spring, a time of renewal, and reminds us of the fleeting nature of life.
